          | This NTSC DVD edition, originally produced for home video by Lobster Films, Paris, reveals a full-frame, natural-speed video transfer from good to very-good 35mm (and possibly 16mm for some shots) source prints, restored in 2005 by Lenny Borger and Lobster Films. Tonal ranges are generally broad, with highlight and shadow details well-maintained in this transfer that looks good on high-definition television equipment capable of picture upscaling. The film is accompanied by a music score by Antonio Coppola, performed by the Octuor de France. This is our recommended home video edition of the film for North American collectors.

          | This PAL DVD edition, produced by Lobster Films, Paris, features a full-frame, natural-speed video transfer from a very-good to excellent 35mm source print, restored in 2005 by Lenny Borger and Lobster Films. We are a bit mystified by the significantly longer running time advertised for this edition (which could be an error). The film is accompanied by a music score by Antonio Coppola, performed by the Octuor de France. This would be our recommended home video edition for European collectors. North American collectors will need a region-free PAL DVD player capable of outputting an NTSC-compatible signal to view this edition.
