Born 15 January 1892 in Dublin, Ireland, as Reginald Ingram Montgomery Hitchcock.
Died 21 July 1950 in Hollywood, Los Angeles, California, USA, od a cerebral hemorrhage.

Married actress Doris Pawn, 15 March 1917; divorced 1920,
Married actress Alice Terry, 5 November 1921; until his death, 21 July 1950.

Rex Ingram is best remembered for directing epic feature films and is not to be confused with actor Rex Ingram.
