Phyllis Allen

Born 25 November 1861 in Staten Island, New York, USA.
Died 26 March 1938 in Los Angeles, California, USA.

Phyllis Allen began in vaudeville and musical comedy theatre. She began film work in 1910 with Selig Polyscope Company, Incorporated, and is best remembered for her work in Keystone Film Company comedies (1913-1916), during which she appeared with Charles Chaplin and Roscoe Arbuckle. Allen also appeared in productions by Bull’s Eye Film Corporation (1920), The Universal Film Manufacturing Company, Incorporated (1920), and Charles Chaplin (1921-1923).
