This lean biography of Chinese actress Renmei Wang is a good overview of her life and film career. The book is illustrated with several photographs, includes a Wang filmography, and concludes with interview transcripts with family member Dr. Yong Wang, actor Yi Qin, and Dong Yuhua on the Chinese Cultural Revolution.
Rather than view the DVD as a bonus to the book, we see the book as supplemental material to the DVD.
