Released 1 November 1913. / Standard 35mm spherical 1.33:1 format. / The production was shot in the Crystal Studios in New York in 1912, and was the actual first film production of Famous Players. The film was shelved for later release when Selig beat this film to release with their version The Count of Monte Cristo (1912). Subsequently, Famous Players brought suit against Selig and won.
